A New Series: The way less traveled
If you believe the Bible is more of an invitation
to meaningful conversation than a collection of
facts, this series is for you. We will be looking
at terms and texts that have been around and
either rejected or seemed confusing. Regarding
most assumptions about some of the key terms
& texts, John David Bowman says, "There's
more to it than that! Maybe we need to simply
dig a little deeper." John David will guide us
through some alternative ways of looking at

things we thought we already knew helping us

to make practical use of these classic texts of
our heritage.
June 21 - What the Hell? - What does the
Bible really say about hell and how does that fit
with a loving God?
June 28 - Oh, for heaven's sake! - Is heaven
pie in the sky or actually found this side of the
grave?
July 5 - Birth of the blues (or) A new lease
on life - What does "born again" really mean?
The Library Committee will meet in the
church library on Wednesday, June 24 at 7pm.
