Lesson
Introduction:
1. I will start the discussion by asking the following question:
a. When I say the word superheroes, what do you think of?
b. What kind of books do we see superheroes in?
c. Where do you usually see superheroes?
Development:
1. I will keep eliciting student thinking about superheroes by asking the
following questions:
a. What makes superheroes different from ordinary people?
b. Which superheroes do you know?
Tasks:
2. Students will have to write about which superhero they would be if they co
be any superhero and why. If the students are not done. They will have to
bring it home for homework.

students are too
rowdy and

If the students are being too loud and are not focusing on the task at hand,
will give them a test from their Language Power book. They will have to d
the test quietly and individually. If they are finished, they can work on thei
handwriting skills in their handwriting book.

o I plan on giving the students a checklist. This checklist will help th
students remember the components that are supposed to be include
their response. I am also hoping this will support the students in
learning how to follow instructions.
I will be saving these papers as a first task for the superhero unit and will
serve as a diagnostic assessment.
