Mick,
Your beginning to develop the correct technique which is delightful, however do not get
discouraged if you do not experience success every time.
Just keep practicing and working hard and you will continue to develop at the rate you have
done so far.
A couple of areas need refining which are responsible for your bad shots.
Ball Position
There is a tendency for the ball position to be too far forward (towards the target) in your
stance.
REMEMBER
Pw – middle of the stance (in line with the sternum)
7 iron – just left of centre (position the ball just left of the sternum)
Driver – just inside the left heel (about a club head’s width)
This has improved since our last session which is good; however we need to refine this move
for it to become consistent within your golf swing.
When doing this drill, place emphasise on your body rotating throughout the shot.
This will ensure your weight is transferred correctly and you will release the golf club
efficiently.
There is a habit of using your arms and hands to hit the golf ball which will cause
inconsistency and inaccuracy!
Any problems or queries, do not hesitate to contact me and make sure that when you are
playing on the course, go out and enjoy it!
