THE PSYCHOLOGY

BOOK OF PICK UP
LINES

Frontal Lobe: The part of the brain used for problem

solving, decision making, conscious behaviors, and
thinking.
Girl, I would have to hit my Frontal Lobe real hard to not
want to date you.

Motor Cortex: The area in the brain where nerves direct

the actions of muscles and glands consciously.
My Motor Cortex always has me trying to flex my biceps
for you.

Occipital Lobe: The area of the brain that is responsible

for sight, vision.
Ill make sure I protect my Occipital Lobe to never lose
sight of you girl.

Temporal Lobe: Area of the brain that is involved with

hearing. It is part of the Cerebral Cortex.
My Temporal Lobe will let me hear your voice for the rest
of eternity, saying I love you Joshua, youre so sexy.

Parietal Lobe: The part of the brain that is associated with

sensing pain and pressure.
My Parietal Lobe senses the pressure coming from your
heart, wanting to love me.

Somatosensory Cortex: An area within the Parietal Lobe

that routes sensory information, from the skin, muscles,
and joints. It allows us to detect the position of our own
body.
My Somatosensory Cortex must not be working, because
Im lost in your heart.

Brocas Area: An area in the Frontal Lobe that influences

speech.
My Brocas Area must be failing, because I cant find the
words to describe how beautiful you are.

Wernickes Area: Area that is used in processing language

and understanding.
Wow, my Wernickes Area is probably so strong, because I
can hear and understand how much you want me baby.

Medulla: Area located on the Brain Stem. It is responsible

for regulating heart rate and breathing.
My medulla has been telling me that I love you, because
my heart rate increases whenever I see you.

Pons: Located above the spinal cord, it is a major pathway

for information transmitted between the brain and the
body, including motor and sensory information.
My pons must be missing, because when I see you, I feel
brainless.

Reticular Formation: Area located in the Brain Stem. It

controls motor control, autonomic control, sensory
control, and consciousness control.
Girl, Im sorry, but my Reticular Formation is making me
put my arm around your shoulder.

Thalamus: Part of the brain stem that transfers

information from the nervous system to the brain, such as
sight, sleep, touch, and other senses.
My thalamus is telling me that Im hugging you right now.
If not, we might as well hug.

Cerebellum: Located in the back of the brain, it controls

voluntary movement, and balance and movement.
Girl, I hope your Cerebellum fails so you can fall into my
arms.

Hypothalamus: Part of the brain that is located

underneath the Thalamus. It controls the endocrine
system with the control of many glands. It also controls
appetite and homeostasis.
My Hypothalamus is telling me that Im hungry for you,
nom nom.

Hippocampus: Part of the brain that is the main controller

of the formation of long term memories, and memories in
general.
Girl, Ill make sure I never harm my Hippocampus, so I
can never forget that beautiful face.

Amygdala: An area of the brain that controls anger, and

aggression.
Ill make sure my Amygdala never harms you baby, I love
you.
