Used in case of R-6 is not sufficient since slurry abrasion is


harsh.
The others are the same as R-6.

OHJI-SOFT

R-5

Not suitable for slurry abrasion.


Suitable for abrasion by rough particles being a large diameter
and heavy load.

For special abrasion resistance.

Field Lining

OHJI-SOFT R-6
(Standard type)

For anti-acid (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid), anti-alkali


and slurry abrasion resistance under the practical use condition in
general.
Separate consider in case of the contamination.

The storage tank, pipe of general chemical


resistance.

Shop Lining

OHJI-SOFT

R-7

Not suitable for general anti-acid and anti-alkali.


Used as either NR soft or top lined of hard rubber.

For dil-fluoric acid.


(Against a very small amount of Hydrofluoric
acid included rough phosphoric acid)

R-8

NR soft rubber balanced with hard rubber during curing.


For general anti-acid and anti alkali.

Used as Sunhard SH-8168, SH-8078 and SH78.

CHARACTERISTICS
Soft Rubber type (R-type, C-type, B-type, S-type) hardly gets damage by shock and vibration, but hard rubber type has some
problems with them.
Hard rubber with corrosive resistance is used and when it is needed to consider the resistance towards shock and vibration, three
layers lining (SH-type), soft rubber~hard rubber~soft rubber is adapted.
SH type (Sunhard-type) is a sign showing the structure of soft~hard and soft~hard~soft from metal surface. The components of
thickness and material are different depending requested working condition.
Therefore, in this case further indication is necessary.
Hardness standard is different depending on each rubber structure.
