Extra activity: jobs vocabulary

Put students into pairs and tell them they have two
minutes to write down as many jobs in English as they
can. They can use jobs from this unit and any others they
can think of.
Elicit the names of jobs from students and write them on
the board. Ask students to spell each word as you write it,
and say what it means.
You can then play 20 questions. One student thinks of
one of the jobs, and other students can ask up to 20 yes/
no questions in order to guess the job, for example: Do
you work outside? Do you make something in your job? Do
you entertain people? You might want to revise question
formation in the Present simple before you start the game.
