Personal Profile I am currently delivering the Progress2Work Jobcentre Plus contract in
Gloucestershire, working with clients on a consultancy basis preparing them
for a return to employment or training. I previously worked as a Mortgage
Advisor for four years, visiting clients in their own homes, selling Mortgages
and Protection products. A key skill is building relationships with clients and

Progress to Work Project Worker


Responsible for delivering the Progress2Work Jobcentre Plus contract,
aimed at helping people return to work. I work with clients on a 1:1 basis,
identifying barriers to employment and providing solutions to overcome
them. The other main responsibility of my job is to promote the service to
relevant local organisations and conduct meetings with local employers to
maximize job opportunities for my clients.

Mortgage Adviser
For the first two years I was based in The Property Shop Estate Agents in
Lydney as an appointed representative of MGM Home Finance, greeting
customers as they came into the shop to offer mortgage advice and
conducting appointments. I also built excellent relationships with the Estate
Agency staff to maximize business.
I remained with Passward Financial Planning when they sold the agency
to concentrate on Financial Services, as an appointed representative of the
Openwork Network. I was responsible for generating my own leads by
building effective relationships and visiting clients at home, elling mortgages,
term assurance, income protection and general insurance products,
successfully meeting all targets set for me. Left due to company entering
Administration.

Leading teams of up to 20 staff, responsible for their Recruitment,
motivation and development via quarterly reviews and annual appraisals.
Ensure adequate resource at all times. Attending management meetings
and making recommendations to Senior Management for improving
processes and performance. Collating statistics and producing the
departmental and divisional scorecard to analyse workflow and identify
trends. Complete ad-hoc projects as and when required.
Trainer
Part of a team of six people responsible for the Training of new and existing
staff of approx 120 people in Mortgage division. Producing and delivering
training sessions by either group presentations or one to one. Scheduling
my own workload and preparing Training materials. Projects including
major re-writing of task processes and delivering changes to staff.
