From Active Voice to Passive Voice RULE! The object of the Active Voice becomes the
subject of the Passive Voice sentence, keeping in mind that the TENSE of the verb in the
ACTIVE VOICE dictates the TENSE of TO BE in the Passive Voice .Keep in mind that the
verb also dictates the past participle!
*object-complemet; We can have direct objects and indirect objects, they match the
Romanian ones, thus they answer the following questions:What?-D.O and to whom? I.O.

Impersonal "it" with passive


When we mention the words or thoughts of people in general, we often use an impersonal "it"
structure:
