PASSIVES

The document discusses the formation of passive sentences in Spanish. It explains that in a normal passive sentence, the direct object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence. The subject of the active sentence then becomes the agent complement in the passive sentence, introduced by the preposition "by". It also discusses how passive sentences are formed with two objects, as well as with verbs of thinking and speaking. Examples are provided to illustrate these types of passive constructions.
