Bays swept and tidy.

Definition

All stock that has system issues must be located in the nominated zones
and labelled correctly.
Bay 11 to 30 clean of stretch wrap, cardboard and dust.
All units must have chocks under the wheels, when parked on the bays.
All paperwork must be filed in relevant trays.
Fire exits free warehouse debris.
When bins are full they are removed to their relevant disposal points.
Cage fill must be 95% or above.
Check the list of nominated stores and ensure they have been black
stretch wrapped before loading
Trailers must be clean and free of debris.
Do not leave straps, loading plates and other equipment on the floor or
leaning upright in the work area.

All stock that has system issues must be located in the nominated zones
and labelled correctly.
Place the keys in the designated place.
Shunters to chock all NDC/DIDC trailers and containers, Drivers with
direct deliveries are to chock their own vehicles.
Maintain clean desk, ensure that documents and paperwork are located in
the correct trays.
Blue pallets should be staked ten high in a neatly manner ready for
intake.
Use the bins located around site and when full, marshal to the designated
Area.
Never obstruct emergency exits, evacuation routes or emergency
equipment.
All operatives are to clean as they go, collecting waste materials as they
proceed.

Action & Date

Should be moved out of MHE and pedestrian routes and stacked neatly,
pallets must never be left up right. And must NOT be stacked over ten.

International

All sin bin stock located correctly.

Desk area tidy

Fire exits clear.


All full bins replaced.

Hygiene.
No fragile items crushed by heavier products.
No boxes overfilled so they cannot be sealed.

Returns Department & Racking

Desk area tidy and paperwork located in the correct


trays.

Bay 32 clear of cages.

Yard at the back of bay 32 clean and tidy.

Fire exists clear.

All full bins replaced.

Cages and pallets.

No damaged unsafe pallets in the racking.

Battery Charging Area

PPE stored in correct location.

Area swept and free of litter.

Problem stock should be labelled and located in the designated area and
labelled correctly.
Maintain clean desk, ensure that documents and paperwork are located in
the correct trays.
Never obstruct emergency exits, evacuation routes or emergency
equipment.
Use the bins located around site and when full, marshal to the designated
Area.
Good house keeping and hygiene practices help to keep the dust to a
minimum.
Avoid placing heavy items on weaker cartons to avoid crushing.
Do not overfill sea freight boxes.

Maintain clean desk, ensure that documents and paperwork are located in
the correct trays.
Move the cages to designated places.
Maintain the area clean of waste materials.
Never obstruct emergency exits, evacuation routes or emergency
equipment.
Never crush contents of bins down, empty them when they are full.
Locate them in a orderly manner and not to obstruct walkways / traffic
routes
Make sure that no pallets are used for storing stock that will be
unsuitable for locating in the racking.

Make sure that PPE is stored in the designated area.


Driving over debris on the floor may affect the stability of the trucks
causing it to tip over. Maintain area clean and tidy.

Racking

Empty blue pallets removed from racking.

Empty cardboard removed from racking and located


in still-cages.
Loose stretch wrap removed from the pallets.

All empty pallets and roll cages.

Yellow crash barriers clear of dust.


Fire exists clear.
All full bins replaced.

No damaged unsafe pallets in the racking.

Large Pick By Line

All sin bin stock located correctly.

Desk area clean and tidy.

All full bins replaced.

No fragile items crushed by heavier products.

Floors swept.

Pallets
Empty pallets stacked in correct location.

Mezz Floors

Floors in pick face clear of cardboard boxes.

Pick face tidy, with no loose stock.


All sin bin stock located correctly.

Floors swept and pallets removed.

Desk area clean and tidy.

Stack pallets in the designated area, move blue pallets to intake area and
white pallets to LDCR and LPBL.
Clear racking of empty cardboard and any waist materials.
Loose stretch wrap may cause harm. Remove it from the pallets and place
it in the bins provided.
Make sure that all empty pallets and roll cages are removed from the back
walls
Clean the barriers from dust and waist materials.
Never obstruct emergency exits, evacuation routes or emergency
equipment.
Use the bins located around site and when full, marshal to the designated
Area.
Ensure that FLT drivers are not locating damaged pallets in the racking.

Problem stock should be labelled and located in the designated area and
labelled correctly.
