Bustamante & Co. understands our clients in the legal, corporate, and entrepreneurial

Bustamante & Co. believes clients should have access to all their statements,

Through our client portal clients have everything they need all in one easy to
navigate page.

ACTIVE PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT


Through our relationships with Interactive Brokers (options) and motif investing
(core positioning) Bustamante & Co. believes in striving to beat underlying
market benchmarks.
We incorporate 3 portfolios that are unique in nature with their thematic
weightings and allocations from conservative to aggressive. Unlike mutual funds
that incorporate layers of fees which end up dissolving returns, our firm
incorporates one fee for all the portfolios that is broken down into a
tranche-based model.
Our firm also believes we should only get paid if we perform. That is why we
maintain a mentality of an eat what we kill culture. This means we dont get
paid unless we deliver through our tranche based fee model.

OUR METHODS FOR INVESTMENT


SECLECTION
Our investment approach is designed around uncorrelated systematic strategies
which includes various asset classes to add additional alpha apart from beta when
comparing them to underlying benchmarks.
See: ADV Part 2 for a full breakdown of our investment strategies/methods.
The implemented strategies are executed at the managers discretion and can
consist of the following approaches within the portfolios:

Hybrid: Model that blends in two major trading styles associated with directional
trading of asset class trends and valuations.
New Factors/Macro: Model looks at dynamics outside of trend, including
fundamental factors such as yield structure, correlation analysis between asset
classes, and volatility surface analysis to drive forecasting techniques.

CLEARING AND PORTFOLIOS


Bustamante & Co. LLC does not maintain custody of client funds. Our brokerage
clearing is placed through Interactive Brokers and Pershing (Motif Investing).
PORTFOLIOS
Erebus: Conservative allocation seeks to preserve wealth while growing returns at a
moderate pace compared to the AGG underlying index. The portfolio at times will
incorporate conservative option strategies. (See ADV Part 2)
FUML: Aggressive allocation that seeks absolute returns through a long/short macro
based strategy. Utilizing uncorrelated assets such as options, currencies, and
commodities the portfolio strives to outperform the S&P 500 underlying index.
FIT: Fixed Income Transfer seeks to preserve cash equivalents while offering tax
advantaged allocations. Portfolio is used mainly as a parking vehicle after core
portfolio returns exceeds the comparative & optimal bands pursuant to our tranche
based fee structure.

OUR UNIQUE FEE STRUCTURE


Our fee structure by its very nature is tied solely to the growth of our clients asset base.
That means if we dont perform, then we dont get paid. Its that simple.
As the only firm in the State of Arizona to incorporate a Tranche-Based Fee Structure,
we tie our compensation directly to how we perform in the portfolios and deliver for
our clients in other financial areas.
Bustamante & Co. Charges 3.25% for its services which is broken down into three
tranches. Each tranche is NOT paid out to our firm unless certain key performance
bands in the portfolios are met along with certain planning goals.

* Since March 2016, Bustamante & Co. has lowered its fee structure from 4% to 3.25%

ONGOING MONITORING AND


ADVISORY
Bustamante & Co. is not a volume based firm. We dont take on 100s of relationships
like most advisory firms looking to squeeze out thin margins while providing the bare
minimum of service to clients. Are relationships are capped to 50 clients so that were
able to truly work and understand their needs while maintaining the integrity of our
portfolio returns.
Our advisory side of the firm works with clients in several capacities to ensure
theyre in the know when it comes to their assets and planning. Here are just a
few ways clients can connect with Bustamante & Co.
Scheduled virtual calls every 3 months.
End of month investor conference call to go over portfolios and field
questions
Monthly investor letter on current outlook and strategy
Skype or Citrix (See: Technology) same day virtual calls (after market hours)

TECHNOLOGY
As a virtual firm, we incorporate several third party partners so clients are able
to connect with us 24/7 and view their information securely regardless of their
time zone.
