An adventure story can be a fictional or non-fictional tale with a fast-moving plot, and usually
involves some mystery or an exciting tale about an experience. They usually contain elements of
risk and action and can be set anywhere, both real and imaginary. These are enjoyed by all, and we
have only just scraped the surface in this list. Adventure stories can be loosely classified into 4
categories: Magic Adventure; Robinson-esque (survival stories set on an island); Survival (like the
previous, but not set on an island); Sea Adventure
