The Product shall include the remote monitoring device with the following hardware
specifications:
Stand-alone, remote monitoring device
Antenna (PowerCommand 500 Remote Monitoring System or PowerCommand 550 GSM or
CDMA models only)

The Products software shall allow for web browsing from users on the same LAN. The
following security measures shall be provided:
Login security with configurable usernames and passwords
Three levels of security accessadministrator, operator and read only
128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Encryption

Home Page shall be a color graphical representation displaying all configured generator sets,
automatic transfer switches and/or auxiliary devices at the site. User shall also be able view the
overall health of the system; perform real time and historical graphing capabilities and select
any configured graphical representation to view generator set, transfer switch or sensor and
output control screens.

Generator Set Page shall be a color graphical representation displaying real time and historical
data on any configured generator set. The user shall have the ability to remotely start, stop and
acknowledge warnings. Generator set settings, data logs and event logs shall be viewable from
the Products user interface. Data, where supported by the generator set control, displayed shall
include:

Transfer Switch Page shall be a color graphical representation displaying real time and
historical data on any configured transfer switch. The user shall have the ability to remotely
start test, stop test and acknowledge warnings. Transfer switch settings, data logs and event
logs shall be viewable from the Products user interface. Data, where supported by the transfer
switch control, displayed shall include:

Sensors and Output Controls Page shall be a tabular representation displaying real time data on
any configured sensors and output controls. The user shall have the ability to view configured
sensors, including states, values, low warnings and high warnings. The user shall have the
ability to view output controls, including statuses and states, and remotely active and deactivate
output states by selecting the off/on switch. The user shall have the ability to remotely
acknowledge warnings. Sensor and output control settings and event logs shall be viewable
from the Products user interface.

The Product shall be capable of sending system and device notifications via Simple Mail
Transfer Protocol (SMTP)/e-mail and Short Message Service (SMS)/text. The user shall have
the ability to configure notification settings, activate notifications, acknowledge events and add
multiple email/SMTP and text/SMS recipients.

The Product shall be capable of sending system and device information over the Internet
Protocol (IP) to the customers building management system (BMS). For notifications, this will
be via Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)/traps; and for device information, this
will be via Modbus TCP/IP. The user shall have the ability to configure SNMP settings,
Modbus TCP/IP settings, notification settings, activate notifications and acknowledge events.
1.1.1.10 Event Logs shall generate and store active events from any configured devices as well as store
historic events. The screen will provide details including time stamp, source, event type, event
code and description. The ability to acknowledge events will be available on this page. Event
logs shall display the same events as displayed in the Generator Set and Transfer Switch Pages.
1.1.1.11 Data logs shall store and display all system and device related information. The screen will
provide pre-configured Modbus register data points for the respective generator set or transfer
switch control. Data logs shall display the same parameters as displayed in the Generator Set
and Transfer Switch Pages.
1.1.1.12 The user shall have the capability to generate reports against any configured device. The report
shows a graphical representation of the selected parameter/s over the past 24 hours, past 7 days,
past 30 days or customized intervals. These parameters are also plotted on a time scale with a
summary of the minimum, maximum and average values. A report must be exported in a CSV
file format for further analysis (PowerCommand 550 Remote Monitoring System only).

The generator set manufacturer shall have a service and support network capable of installing
and commissioning the Product. The service and support network shall include local service
organizations with factory trained service and support technicians. The supplier shall maintain
local service parts and maintenance parts and components for the installed Product.
1.1.1.16 Warranty
A.
The generator set manufacturer shall provide warranty coverage for a period of 1 year from the
date of commissioning, demonstration or 18 months after factory ship date, whichever is sooner.
This warranty covers any failures of the product, under normal use and service, which result
from a defect in material or factory workmanship.
