Engineering Manager - Pham Nguyen
Manage engineering team and coordinates activities of engineering department related todesign,
process, project and maintenance to ensure the business operation in factory.
Be responsible for engineering schedules like electrical, project, maintenance, to achieve maximized
capacity utilization on manufacturing operations and superior product performance.
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure minimum machine breakdown
time and control of implementation of a sound programme of maintenance and systems to ensure
continual improvement in of World Class Manufacturing principles
Implement program TPM for all assets, processes and operators to ensure continual improvement in
both machine lifetime and productivity.
Generate and provide engineering plan, direction, and coordination for all technical activities like new
product design, test procedure and engineering process to meet the product supply objectives.
Base on the market demand provided by marketing department to analyse and define technology trend
and human resources needs in order to provide a proper solution to ensure the project outcomes.
Be accountable of engineering procedures and policies compliance to make sure sustainable
operations.
Manage and control engineering department budget to deliver the excellent support with the optimum
cost.
Manage the acquisition, tracking, modification, and obsolescence of all production assets.
Facilitate the transfer of technical knowledge and technology from different sources ( All factories of
Pham Nguyen and suppliers).
Proactively to benchmark and share best practices aiming to continuously improve the product supply
capability of Pham Nguyen Company.
Manage the processes of handling, maintenance and using spare parts.
Develop and organize maintenance related training for operators as well as technical staff.
Manage all project activities of CAPEX and cost within planed.

- Timely development and implementation of new/improved maintenance section, process section and
engineering projects. Quality of the processes/projects, improvement on actual business results from the
projects.
- Key indexes on Safety (incident rate, Safety and Occupational Health Programs rating), Key total
delivered cost indexes (conversion costs, productivity, and cost reduction vs. previous year),
- MTTR and MTBF
- Key asset management indexes (waste, down time, process reliability, output) on the related
assets/processes.
- SOPs in place.
- Increase life time of machine parts and productivity.
- Reduction of maintenance costs.
Human Resources
- Coordinating with HR to recruit the Teams
- Implementing the performance management process to the Teams in line with mill/department
directions/policy.
- Do the salary review for the teams
- Provide constructive coaching & feedback, recognition to the Teams and support functions.
- Develop Development Plan for the Teams as well as training programs to meet their position
qualification requirements.

University degree in electrical or mechanical or equivalent experience
Over 3 years of experience in equivalent position; experience in chemical/ solvent
based paint production is an advantage.
Fluent in English
CMMS experience
Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Autocad)
Excellence in data analysis and procedure setup for improvement
Experience in manufacturing
Hazard study/Risk assessment skill and experience
Project management skill
TPM experience
Problem solving skills
Experience in area classification and explosion-proof equipment
Experience in PLC and instruments
