Grey Power
Just as my strength was then, so now is my
strength. Joshua 14:11

Dutch artist Yoni Lefevre created a project


called Grey Power to show the vitality of
the aging generation in the Netherlands.
She asked local schoolchildren to sketch
their grandparents. Lefevre wanted to show
an honest and pure view of older people,
and she believed children could help supply
this. The youngsters drawings reflected a
fresh and lively perspective of their elders
grandmas and grandpas were shown
playing tennis, gardening, painting, and
more!

Caleb, of ancient Israel, was vital into his


senior years. As a young man, he infiltrated
the Promised Land before the Israelites
conquered it. Caleb believed God would
help his nation defeat the Canaanites, but
the other spies disagreed (Josh. 14:8).
Because of Calebs faith, God miraculously
sustained his life for 45 years so he might
survive the wilderness wanderings and
enter the Promised Land. When it was
finally time to enter Canaan, 85-year-old
Caleb said, Just as my strength was then,
so now is my strength (v. 11). With Gods
help, Caleb successfully claimed his share
of the land (Num. 14:24).

God does not forget about us as we grow


older. Although our bodies age and our
health may fail, Gods Holy Spirit renews us
inwardly each day (2 Cor. 4:16). He makes it
possible for our lives to have significance at
every stage and every age.

HOW WE DO DEVOTIONALS

Start by prayer and worship.

We read from the Old Testament, New Testament, a Psalm, and a Proverb.

We look for what the Lord is speaking to us (Rhema Word).

We write down five things that we get from the scripture:


1. VERSE
2. MESSAGE (what is the Lord speaking to me).
3. PROMISE (what is the Lord promising)
4. COMMAND (what is the Lord telling me to do)
5. WARNING (what is the Lord cautioning me about)
6. APPLICATION (how can I apply this word practically to my life)

VERSE
Colossians 1:24-29 the riches, the pain, the suffering are all temporary here on earth, do not
be attached to it. Your goal is eternal life.
MESSAGE
Why do we have pastors, mentors, heads over us, this is because we are being guided
towards to riches set for us. This is the mystery revealed to them and then to us, we may
know that what is given is the key to eternal life, the riches that would never run out. The
riches that would never be stolen.
PROMISE
Let your life be guided accordingly, the riches here on earth are if no value in comparison to
what await us in the heavens. Even the pain the hurts the hardship is nothing compared to
the rewards in heaven for us if we inly accept Christ in our hearts.

WARNING
Do not be fooled by fools gold on earth, it gives temporary comfort, it provides false
guidance a dangling carrot towards the cliff.
COMMAND
Take the blessing given to you and use it for the others to have a blessing through you.
APPLICATION
Take the blessing here on earth and use it to bless others and put a smile on the lords face,
by showing that earthly riches will not cause for your happiness to be complete but the hope
of reaching the final goal LIFE ETHERNAL. Use the blessing do not allow it to use you.

Season of Grace to Heal

Text: Matthew 10:21-23
21-23 When people realize it is the living God you are presenting and not some idol that
makes them feel good, they are going to turn on you, even people in your own family. There
is a great irony here: proclaiming so much love, experiencing so much hate! But dont quit.
Dont cave in. It is all well worth it in the end. It is not success you are after in such times but
survival. Be survivors! Before youve run out of options, the Son of Man will have arrived.
GOD'S MESSAGE
I have a chance to pray for another sick person yesterday (10.20.14) She is tita Mila Tiongco,
aunt of Carl Conception, shes in a comatose condition. For three days already she has no
reaction to any stimuli they gave her. Her sister tita Sweet who was attending her said she
felt that shes not even there anymore. But after Ive shared the word, talk to her, prophesy
to her and prayed. When they are leaving her for the night tita Sweet says shes crying,
"now I know shes there!"
Were about to leave the hospital Cha, Carls wife, ask me if I could pray for her because her
scoliosis was in pain then after being prayed for she said it was all gone.
Pastor Tanny told me that all of this is for the soul purpose of winning souls and making
disciples.
Im a bit guilty of not really sharing to the family who Jesus is but now I was relieve because
Gods message is he is doing all this to give way to the message of his Kingdom coming to
their family!'
I believe I just keep on doing this no matter what happens. I also need to consider my family
that they are looked after and that my daughters will have their dad at night with them and
my wife has a husband who can be there for her.
PROMISE TO KEEP
"When people realize it is the living God you are presenting and not some idol that makes

"It is not success you are after in such times but survival. Be survivors"

APPLICATION
I believe God is bringing me into this season of grace to heal the sick to be able to win more
souls for Jesus and make more disciples. I will not stop till the whole world knows about
Jesus!
