The Roanoke-Benson Recreation Association (RBRA) is offering a fall 2016 soccer program for youth ages 4 through 8th grade, including both in-house and travel leagues. The in-house program begins practices in early September and runs games through early October at local parks and ball diamonds. The competitive travel program is for 5th through 8th graders and begins practices in late August, playing games on Fridays and Saturdays starting September 9th. Registration forms and fees are due by August 8th for travel and August 22nd for in-house leagues.

RBRA 2016 FALL SOCCER PROGRAM


Dear parents and athletes,
The fall soccer season is nearly upon us for both In-House and Travel.

Soccer requires good foot skills, speed and endurance.


Start handling the ball and start running
In-House:
RBRA will continue to offer an in-house soccer program for youth 4 years old through 6th grade.
Practices will begin Sept 1st. Games will begin 2 nd week of September and run through early
October. Games for Pre K-K (Peewee League) will be at Roanoke Park ball diamond on Saturday
mornings. Games for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade (Jr. League) will be on various weeknights and
Saturdays at the Jumbo. The Sr. league which consists of 4th-6th grade will be at the Roanoke
Nursing Home on various weeknights Saturdays .

Travel:
We are pleased to offer competitive, travel soccer for 5th through 8th grades. Practices will be 2
times per week, starting the third week of August. Games will be on Friday and Saturdays,
starting September 9th. If numbers are high, then TRY OUTS may be required. (Registration fees
will be refunded if the athlete doesnt make the team.) 5th and 6th grade athletes will have the
opportunity to play down in the Sr. league only if they do not make the travel team.
