Employee Reference Sample

References must be signed by an authorized person from the applicant's employer and include the referee's name, position, and contact details. Unsuitable references include those where the referee's relationship is unclear, references on plain paper with just a business card or notary stamp instead of a verified signature, or references that do not clearly state the signature was witnessed. A suitable reference would be on a company letterhead specifying the referee's information and signature.

The name,
position and contact details of the person making the reference must be clearly indicated.
The following job references are NOT suitable:
If the referees relationship with the applicant is unclear
Plain paper reference with the referees business card
Plain paper reference, with a stamp and signature of Notary Public but doesnt state the
referees signature is witnessed
