ADDITIONAL

INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION
TZERP 96

This template describes all recommended additional information which should be available for instructors (in addition
to the instructor notes that are integrated within the XML course handbook) to ensure a good quality standard of
instructor information. The document is stored within the Service Marketplace under the alias /curr-info
(http://service.sap.com/curr-info).
This document especially is used for capturing dynamic information changing over time (like e.g. existing
bugs due to implemented support packages etc.) that can not be included in the fixed XML based instructor
guide.
Therefore every instructor should always have a look into this document when teaching a course to ensure
that he or she has up to date information (that can not be guaranteed just by the XML embedded instructor
guide).
Please note:
This Additional Instructor Guide is not mandatory.

Information on how to access the cloud environment and the corresponding systems you find in the Service
Marketplace: http://www.service.sap.com/curr-info
There you will find general information on how to log on to the cloud environment as well as the corresponding
instructor guides.
If you log on to the systems from outside the SAP environment please make sure that you have a CSG (Gateway) user
provided by the training department.
If you require a preparation system in the cloud this needs to booked through the training department.
Once you have accessed the Training Zone in the WTS (within SAP landscape) choose Common Training and enter
the compute provided by the training department, e.g. as shown below.

2
Landscape Name (WTS-Alias): CA-PS605EA-xxx (xxx=number 000-499)
Further details such as user and password and on how to log on to the operating system are usually provided by the
training department.
In the cloud environment then choose the SAP Logon:
System ID: TPP / Client: 860
System is based SAP ERP Enhancement Package 5 (SP03)
!!! Please use only default System IDs in the SAPGUI-Logon. If you do not see TPP in the SAPGUI-Logon you may be

Switching ON/OFF table locking in SAP systems:
Course requires parallel working in Customizing. Use continuously SM12 to unlock users. So far we have not tested
table locking switched on/off with report ZSENQON or ZSENQOFF via transaction SE38.

Technical Hints
In the exercises you will be using Adobe Interactive Forms. In case you are running into issues please check the
following suggestions:
1. Check if the ADS (Adobe Document Server) is working in general.
Use transaction SA38 to execute the program FP_PDF_TEST_00. This enables you to check the RFC connection to
ADS. If the system displays the version number of ADS, the configuration of the RFC connection is correct.
You receive one of the following error messages:
a.

If the system displays dialog fields for user and password instead of the version number, the entries for user and
password in the RFC connection do not match the entries in user management.
Check the user and the password.

b.

The system displays a "SYSTEM ERROR" with the following text:

"ERROR CODE: 100.101"
"ERROR MESSAGE: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport : HTTP send returned with status
code" or
"ERROR MESSAGE : SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport : HTTP receive failed with exception
communication_failure"

Contact your system administrator and ask them to check or correct the details for target device, service
number and path prefix in the RFC connection (transaction SM59).
If all of these entries are correct and the problem still persists, you should check whether the J2EE Engine is
started correctly. Read SAP Note 1587941 also.
c.

If the system displays an error message stating that there is no valid HTTP connection, then there is no RFC
connection to ADS.
Contact your system administrator and ask them to correct

2. Use transaction SA38 to execute the program FP_TEST_00. If the FP_TEST_00 form is displayed in the print
preview, the ADS configuration is correct. If the system displays an error message instead of a form, the
configuration of ADS is incorrect.
Contact your system administrator and ask them to correct
3. Check if the ADS version used is correct for the forms being processed. In that case you may have to lower the
target version in Edit->Form Properties->Defaults)

4. In case the issue only exists for the tax return form bundles check if the Web Dynpro script was added as described
in the exercise.

5. Check if the ADS versions of the ContainerFoundation_JS is corresponding with the ADS version deployed.

In the menu under Utilities -> Insert Web Dynpro Script you can insert the latest Container Foundation.
