Committee D35 on Geosynthetics
Scope

The formulation of test methods, specifications, guides, practices, terminology,


and the dissemination of knowledge dealing with geosynthetics. This would
include but not be limited to applications such as roadway stabilization and
repair, erosion control, and soil drainage and reinforcement, as well as hydraulic
barriers composed primarily of man-made polymer sheets or spray applied
systems.
The formulation of test methods, specifications, guides, practices and
terminology for geosynthetic by-products shall be considered by the
Committee by establishment of special subcommittees approved by the
Executive Subcommittee.
The work of this Committee will be coordinated with Committee D13 on Textiles
and Committee D18 on Soil and Rock, D34 on Waste Management, and any
other ASTM Committees or organizations having mutual interest.
