There are 180 school days in a year of 365 days. Schedule vacations during school breaks. Students must attend school
regularly. They should arrive on time and attend all scheduled classes and activities. Parents and guardians are responsible
for sending their children to school and notifying the school with a valid reason for any absence.
Florida Statute requires children between the ages of 6-16 must attend school. Florida Statute 1003.21(1) states, Each
parent and legal guardian of a child within the compulsory attendance age is responsible for the childs attendance as required
by law.
