Governance Structure

The department of Financial Services has three major units as follows:


FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING UNIT
This unit, headed by a Deputy Director, is responsible for:

Financial reporting environment

Audits

Management reporting

Treasury function

FINANCIAL PLANNING UNIT


This unit, headed by a Deputy Director, is responsible for:

Institutional Budgets: preparation, monitoring and control

Donor Funded Projects

Management of Research Projects

Asset Management & Insurance

BUSINESS SERVICES UNIT


This unit, headed by a Deputy Director, is responsible for:

Supply chain management: tenders and procurement

Management of stores
