Thisstudyhallwillprovideanopportunityforeachstudenttoprepare,organize,plan,andcompleteassignmentsfortheirclasses.Academicprogresswill
bereviewedweekly.
Expectations
Studentsareexpectedto:

Berespectfulandcourteoustoeachother,themselves,theteacher,andtheschool.

Giveandshowpositiveeffortintheirwork,habits,andattitudes.

Listenandfollowdirectionsandnotdisturbthelearningofothers.

WhentheExpectationsPolicyisbrokenthelineofconsequenceswillbeasfollows:

IftheExpectationsPolicyiscontinuallybroken,ameetingwillbesetupwithstudent,parents,andteachertofindabettersuccessplayforstudent.

Asa memberofa1:1program,itis yourresponsibilitytobringyourdevicetoclasseachdaychargedandreadyforuse. Failureto dosowillresultinyour


beingsenttotheMediaCentertoreceivea violation. Ifyourdevice is inneedofchargingitwillbekeptandchargedfor the remainderoftheclasshouror
untilitreaches50%.Itisyourresponsibilitytopickitupbetweenclasses.Loanerdevicesareavailableonlyfordevicesthataremailedinforrepair.

MediaCenter/ComputerLabUse

StudentsmustnotbefailinganyclassesandhavenomissingassignmentstoutilizetheMediaCenter(unlesstheyhaveapassfromaspecificteacher).
Studentgradecheckswillbedonedailyandweekly.Time,amountofstudents,andavailabilitywillvaryonadaytodaybasisstudentswithapassfrom
anotherteacherwillalwaysbegivenpreference.MisbehaviorcanleadtolossofprivilegeofusingtheMediaCenter.

TechnologyUse

Technologywillbeusedthroughoutthiscourseinseveraldifferententitiesincludingbutnotlimitedtocomputers,laptops,tablets,andcellphones.Itisthe
expectationthatthesedevicesarebeingusedforeducation/classrelatedneeds.Examplesofnoneducation/classrelatedtechnologyuseincludesbutisnot
limitedtosocialmedia,music,games,andinappropriatewebsites/images.Studentswhochoosetousetechnologyinappropriatelycanresultin
consequencesrangingfromawarningtoadetentiontolossofprivilegetousetechnology.Allstudentswillberequiredtosignandagreetoaclassroom
technologyuseragreementform.
