Vocabulary/Stems
They will review the STEMs and
vocabulary words for this week. The
following week, they will receive a
new list. Students will need to know
the definitions for both, determine if
the word is used correctly in the
sentence and identify synonyms and
antonyms.

Students need to continue to put entries in
their reading logs. They should always have a
book in class. They are welcome to bring
books from home as well. During this time,
students will focus on authors word choice in
