Gideon's Spies

The book Gideon's Spies by Gordon Thomas claimed that the Mossad, Israel's intelligence service, had about 30 hours of recorded conversations between President Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky eight months before Kenneth Starr began his investigation. The book suggested that Israel was keeping the tapes either for blackmail or to protect their mole in the White House codenamed "Mega." However, the book was heavily criticized by Daniel Pipes as being inaccurate in its claims.
