Corsa C Security Code

The security code cannot always be read directly from the eeprom menu on Corsa C, Combo C, Meriva A, and Tigra models. However, you can manually read the security code by connecting an interface to the car, saving the EEPROM file to the desktop, and opening it with a free binary viewer program. This will display the security code located at addresses 00E8 and 00E9, allowing access to secured modules on the car.

Corsa C, Combo C, Meriva A, Tigra Security Code

Reading
There are occasions when even using the correct
firmware/software combination the security code cannot be
read from the eeprom menu in the Corsa C, Combo C, Meriva
A or Tigra. The box which usually displays the security code
has N/A in it and the read security code box is greyed out.
You can still read the security code manually. To do this you
need to connect your interface to the car.
Using the correct firmware/software version:Diagnostics>
Year>
Corsa C/Combo C/Meriva A or Tigra>
Body>
Instruments>
EEPROM>
Read EEPROM>Save the file to desktop
Exit the instruments and close down the program. The
ignition can be turned off and interface disconnected.
You are now left with a .bin file on the desktop.
You must now download Binary Viewer its free google it.
Once downloaded and installed you can start the program
and open the .bin file on your desktop.

The program will load all of the binary data from the eeprom
and display it on the viewer. You will be left with something
like this.

In this example the code is 3038

The address is 00E8 for the first 2 digits and 00E9 for the
seconds two.
The code retrieval is now complete. The code should work to
allow access to the secured parts of the various modules on
your car.
