FIELD STUDY1: The Learner's Development and Environment 4

The document describes a classroom laboratory setting and various aspects of classroom management that affect learners. It notes cabinets containing laboratory equipment and specimens, classroom rules posted by the door, classroom procedures discussed by the teacher, a daily cleaning schedule posted, a seating arrangement of rows with 6-7 students each, and how the teacher handles misbehavior by confronting students. Positive behavior is reinforced through merits and positive feedback. The analysis discusses how organization and routines affect learner behavior by establishing habits, and what principles a teacher should consider like preparing engaging lessons. Effective behavior strategies included giving participatory activities to motivate students and develop attitudes.

ClassroomManagementDescription Effect on the Learners (to befilled up after you answer theanalysis
question)Specific Areas in theClassroom
In there typical laboratory room, Isee many cabinets in the roomwhere different kind
of laboratoryapparatus, and specimen, preservecat, frog, mussels, and fetus. All of the student who will
use thelaboratory room will be taking incharge of all the things which keptin the cabinet, they will
beresponsible to clean, and maintain the orderliness of the cabinet.
Classroom Rules
Classroom Rules where post in theside of the room near the door For the student to read theClassroom
Rules before entering the room for the class session.
Classroom Procedures
Classroom procedures are the setrules that will discuss by the teacher if there is an activity to
beconducted. The learners develop there listeningability to execute an specific taskgiven by the teacher.
Daily Routines
There are posted cleaners for theday at the side of the blackboardby this, the teacher will be fair ineach
of the student. The learners will be responsible inmaintaining the cleanliness of theroom, by this,
the student as wellas the teacher will not confuse ingiving the cleaning task.

MY ANALYSIS1.
How the classroom organization and routines did affect the learners behavior?
Classroom organization and routines have a huge effect in the learnersbehavior because this will set as
there basis for there attitude. This may help them to build a good attitude in doing a specific task.
This routine will mold there over all behavior because it serve as training in the future whether they will
be a goodcitizen of our country not.

2.
What should the teacher have in mind when she/he designs the classroom organizationand routines?
What theories and principles should have in mind?
The teacher should bear in his/her mind that if he/she will fail to prepare therelesson for the day he/she is
fail. Because the student must have learned somethingon the lesson that she/he must be teach. The student
will be insufficient in there
cognitive skills. Thats why before the
lesson, the teacher must design activities that will enhance there capabilities and abilities. It should be
catch the attention of all of his/her student for them to enjoy their school work.
3.
Which behavior strategies were affective in managing the behavior of the learners? Inmotivating student?
Why were they affective?
The teacher must give activity that all of the student will participate andinterested, by this, the student
will not bored in the class discussion it alsomotivate them to learn and they also enjoy on what they are
doing. This will alsoserve as the training for molding there attitudes towards the lesson.

MY REFLECTION:1.
Imagine yourself organizing your future classroom in the future. In what grade/year level do you see
yourself? What routines and procedures would you consider for this level? Why?
I imagine myself teaching second year student in the future. Because Im majoring
Biology, so I want to teach from my own specialization subject. Before I start mylesson, one of my
students will lead the prayer to bless us on our daily activities inschool, for my student also, to develop
there faith and fear to God. After the prayer theassign student will check the attendance by leading the
count off each gender toknow how many are present or absent. By assigning each student this
responsibility, each of them will be responsible in every classroom routines and procedure withoutbiased
in each of them. Then, I will teach my lesson proper to them. Afterward, after our discussion the monitor
cleaner by group will clean the room and maintain theorderliness of the chairs, etc.
2.
Make a list of rules you are likely to implement in this level. Why would you choose theserules?
a.
Observe orderliness and cleanliness before and after the class session and beforeand after entering the
classroom.( to maintain the cleanliness of the room)b.
Every time the lesson is said to be started, we must pray first. ( to oblige them tohave faith in God and
have fear to God almighty)c.
Then check the attendance by the assigned monitor for that day ( to develop thereirresponsibleness in
each task)d.
The students absent must not more than 5 absents ( for them not to skip the

lesson)e.
The student must be always ready for the pre and post quiz, even for the surprisequiz ( to determine their
cognitive skills on the lesson)
3.
Should learners be involved in making the class rules? Why?
Yes, because they are the one who will obey the rules. As a teacher, the student mustexpress their opinion
and recommendation if the rules will exaggerate them. Becausesome rules that been set by the teacher is
sometimes not follow by the student.
