Theory of Structures-II (Course Outline)
Theory of Structures-II (Course Outline)
Course Description
This course introduces and applies different methods for analysis of
indeterminate structures.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course students will be able to:
Analyze statically indeterminate structures using displacement
methods: slope deflection, Moment distribution, & Kanis Method.
Draws shear force & bending moment diagrams for indeterminate
structures.
Develop stiffness matrix for beams, trusses, and Frame members.
Draw qualitative and quantitative influence line diagrams for
indeterminate structures.
