Place Value Ice-Creams
Instructions
Print the ice-creams on cardstock or laminate for durability.
Cut out the ice-creams.
If you have base ten blocks available show the children what a ten and one looks like. If not, use the pictures
included as a guide. Children can also practice building tens out of connecting cubes or blocks.
Lay out the puzzles, read the number on the cone and find the matching ice-cream scoop.
I usually start with a few ice-creams to begin with until the children get the hang of it.
