We had a wonderful week! In
different math groups, we worked
on various skills such as weighing,
attributes of shapes, sums of 10,
and fact families! Here is a brief
overview of what we will be
working on next week!

Math
*Math is a continuous spiral of
different skills.
*Math is taught in groups. The
same skills are not taught in each
group every day, depending on
students needs to help them be
successful.
*Some skills being learned this
week are: creating bar graphs,
sums of 11, and types of lines. We
are also working on mastering our
addition facts.
*You child will have at least one
math homework every Tuesday.
Sometimes there will be a
worksheet as well as a fact sheet.
You know it is homework if it has a
blue stamp on it.
Science
*Solids outdoors
Library
*We will have Library check-out
every Thursday. Your child will
leave one book at school, and can
take the other one home.
