What if....
Finish that sentence and then create your journal on life where your "What if..." comes true

Space Travel
What if we discovered how to travel in space? Space travel has been around for a very long time. The earliest signs of space travel are a flag on
earths moon followed by some footprints. It appears to symbolize the famous country of America, that one country in all of the history books. Earth
is no longer safe for the human race. Ever since World War III the planet earth has been covered in nuclear radiation. The teacher concluded by
saying that it was our job to make earth inhabitable again.
My name is Josiah and I have been living on mars for my whole life. I have learned about the benefits of earth and how the humans that
stayed on earth died, but the plants did not. Ever since I started going to school the teachers tell us how we are the ones who need to fix earth and
make it what it used to be again. Today is the day that I am going to earth. The government decided to not risk sending the elders back to earth
because they are all the knowledge we have left of earth and how to maintain it when we get it back.
Today is the second week that I have been on earth and we have made some real progress. The elders are planning on coming back next
week to teach us how to make food out of the resources here. The cleanup process was surprisingly easy and simple. We simply flew over earth
and dropped chemicals over the radiation to neutralize it. If the human race never discovered how to travel in space then I would not be able to
share my experiences with my children. I believe that space travel is one of the best things that has happened to the human race because if it did
not exist, then the human race would not exist due to the war.

What if everyone was conjoined to a person with an opposite personality?
Roger and Regor were playing in the yard throwing a bright red ball between each other. It looked more like juggling a single ball since
they were conjoined buddies. Regor felt like the intense heat from sun was baking him but Roger enjoyed the radiant warmth.
Can we stop soon? begged Regor I feel woozy and tired and sweaty and
Shut your mouth you dipstick, Roger replied with a friendly smack across the face. Regor had his circle rimmed glasses knocked off his
face. Regor began to whine and scream Mommies, mommies, Roger hit me again.
Stop making a fuss, grow a backbone, shouted Rachel, who is one of their mothers. Through the screen door, the mothers stepped out
onto the porch with one step shaking the deck and the other making an inaudible tap. Rachels heavy breathing could be heard throughout the
yard and the smoke from her cigaret followed her out. Lehcar also came out smiling and holding a platter of lemonade for her kids.
Now now kids, play nice, spoke Lehcar.
They cant, thats what boys do, interrupted Rachel.
Well thats just your opinion, responded Lehcar.
And youre just a dumb bimbo, Rachel said with a sneer.
As the mothers argued, Roger searched for their ball which had disappeared in their little scuffle. He spotted the red ball rolling away into
the front yard. He went to go chase after it but Regor was reaching for his glasses in the opposite direction. With enough swearing and punching,
Roger got his way.

What if there really is nothing to humanity? Are we just here to live and work and die? We are born to be human, work to be a better
human, and die a weak human. Its an endless cycle of living and dying and living and dying. All we honestly work towards in high school is a piece
of fancy paper, which then leads to an even fancier paper from some college. Then we work and get some more papers that arent as fancy as that
collage construction paper crap, but in more quantities. If we lose that job, we get even less, poor quality papers. Then a new job that you have to
get some more papers to fill out and more to put on file. Then you probably have papers that support your credit cards and house and car, and
probably for your family too. Those papers arent as pretty of the ones that you get for digging yourself years into debt for, though. Youll probably
retire, and there are some more papers for you to fill out and file. Dont forget to make funeral arrangements, so your face and a pretty obituary are
in a little card that is clutched in the hands of the people there. Maybe youll be in the paper too, though thats an even cheaper type of paper and
ink. They make money off all of that paper, and all that paper is made from dead trees. What if were all less important than a dead tree?

What if every What if Question would come true?
Monday, 6 oclock in the morning. How exciting it would be if my principal would call my parents right at his moment and tell them that the
school blew up overnight. I heard my moms phone ringing. After a minute she walked in my room. You cant go to school today, she said. The
school blew up, got invaded by an unknown species, and was eventually eaten by a black hole. I think I wasnt the only person who didnt want to
go to school today. A second before I realized what was going on my mom said, What if your principal is lying and he just has really severe brain
damage? He sure does now. The phone rang again. The principal was hospitalized and the students should immediately get on there way to
school. It didn't really bother me. What if I could fly to school? I opened the door and flew in the sky. Bad idea. I immediately crashed with another
genius who had the same idea. I got up, and this time more careful, I cleared my way to the top of the city. All I could see from up there were red
Ferraris and Porsches on the roads, houses growing till they looked like castles, people on flying carpets, a man on a broom who screamed,
Ron, Hermione, we dont have to hide anymore!, and much more things that Ive never seen before. I closed my eyes, wishing it was just a
dream. I opened them just in time to duck away from a gigantic dragon who almost flew into me.
