Award Ceremony Script

A pleasant evening to everyone. I Darshna Chauhan take an immense


pleasure to be a part of CIM's prestigious awarding ceremony where
students who have shown extraordinary talent, commendable service, and
exceptional participation in the different student organizations are given
due honour.
Before we proceed, let me first welcome the Campus Director Father
Benny, assistant director Father Rojent and the Principal of CIM Dr. K.J.
Thankachan
Let us all give a warm round of applause for the esteemed _______________
I would request Our honourable principal Sir to present a bouquet to
Father Benny

Now I would request Dhaval Sir to felicitate Father Rojent with a Bouquet
Thank you Sir

Felicitating the achievers not only motivates them to set new benchmarks
for themselves, but also prompt on their peers to aim for similar heights.
Annually, College of Christ Institute of Management aims to bestow
recognition upon students who excel in co-extra-curricular activities along
with their academics.
Let us not further delay the moment. I know you all are excited to know
who this years winners are. Let us therefore proceed with the first set of
awards.
1) Proficiency award: These award is designed for the students
who havegiven marvellous performance in terms of their
academicgrades. Here a students academic performance and
credentials have been taken into consideration
Based on these evaluations the award is divided into 2 categories
a) college class toppers (SPI) MBA-4
b) University toppers (CPI)

2) Winner of the talent scale (Maximum no. of points accumulated


by him/ her)
Talent & intelligence never yet inoculated anyone against the caprice of
an individual.. You might never fail on the scale that one may have
pursued but some failure in life are inevitable. Such knowledge is a true
gift for all that is painfully won... In the same way the winner of the talent
scale honours the students who have shown great enthusiasm by
participating in the events held at CIM & hence accumulating maximum
no. of points.

(We could not select the super talent of the campus as the
winners have participated but have not won the competitions)
3) Best Reader Award : Our next award is for the Best Reader award;
its for the student who has really tried to learn better and who through
their own efforts has improved their reading skills greatly during these
past year
4) Most Regular Student of the college
5) Best anchor of the college
6) Best sportsman:Our College aims to develop not only the intellectual
pursuits of students, but also their talents in the Kinaesthetic. The College
of Christ Institute of Management presents the Best Sportsman Award to
students

who

have

shown

extraordinary

skill

in

different

sports

development programs offered by the College.


This award is for our athletes who performed commendably in their
respective events and who have involved themselves extensively in sports
events for the past college year. During deliberations, the athletes
attitude, character, and sports competitions won are part of the criteria for
judging.

8) Best initiator of the collegeThese award is designed to recognize
the top students in the area of academic, service and leadership showing
extraordinary

willingness

and

dedication

upon

providing

assistance&taking the foremost initiative in any work


9) Student ambassador of CIM :The award for Meritorious Recognition
is given to those students who have won various competitions beyond
campus, have shown exquisite performance as delegates of CIM, or have
been excellent representatives to conferences, Events and the like.
These students were successful in applying our college core values not
just inside the walls of the campus. Their integrity has been displayed for
those outside the CIM, reflecting respect and homage to Christ College.
The awards won by our students in different arenas are;
1. " Director's Cut" these award was given in Spectrum 2016 " An inter
college state level cultural fest organized by cultural club, Christ Campus,
Rajkot in association with Rajkot city police Suraksha Setu Society. The
CIM Students Meetesh Sakariya, Darshan Gajjar, Murtuza Bhamal, Shara
Sayed and Damini Patel were awarded with Runners up trophy.
2. Our student have shown their participation in the Marwadi Magnus
2016 Powered by Malhar Patel VIEC career launcher for. They have been
awarded with two awards

club 2015-2016 of christ campus was awarded to Meetesh Sakariya,
Darshan Gajjar, Mohil Turakhiya, Shara Sayed, Kinal Toliya and Yogi Mehta

(Kindly note : The award received by the students for representing CIM will
remain with the college ; on behalf of the award the recipients will be
bestowed with individual memento )

Our Student of the Year award celebrates the achievements and successes
of exceptional students who stand out from the crowd.
The purpose of the award is to find those students who have gone above
and beyond what they may have been expected to achieve.
The winner will boast an excellent academic record, show entrepreneurial
initiative and outstanding career progression; demonstrating extraordinary
achievements in the face of challenges or adversity will be a bonus.
The eligibility criteria of student were based on;
C.E.C.: 30%
GTU C.P.I.: 30%
PARTICIPATION: 15%
OVERALL GROWTH DURING THE TENURE : 15%
Team spirit : 10%

Those people, who sincerely and dedicatedly strive for the


realization of their goals of life, always succeed. Intelligence,
capabilities and talents of the MGMT STUDENTS is the real asset
of CIM
