This bulletin provides you with important information for supporting the new 608 and 753G Series Feller
Bunchers. Changes to the new 608/753G Feller Bunchers included a new Deere Tier II engine as well as
a new and improved cab. Start of sales for these new units will be August 2003.
I.
FACTORY SUPPORT PLAN
DTAC support for the 608 and 753G Series Feller Bunchers will be provided by the TJDTACFT and
TJDTACHA Woodstock Work Group. DTAC is available to you 24 hours a day 7 days per week,
through Web DTAC. During normal DTAC business hours, requests for DTAC assistance,
including "URGENT" cases, should be made through the Web DTAC system. First priority will be
given to "URGENT" cases. Requests for non-"URGENT" DTAC assistance will be responded to in
the order they were received. Any DTAC cases submitted after business hours will be responded to
the next business day. The "REPORT ONLY" cases will be reviewed and filed as time permits.
Dealers who do not have access to Web DTAC can call the Construction & Forestry Help Desk at 1866-382-8783 within U.S. and Canada and 1-563-589-5344 outside U.S. and Canada.
DEALER TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTRE (DTAC) SOLUTION INFORMATION
The most up-to-date information will always be available in DTAC solutions. Searches should be
made using the "608, 753G" model in the product field. As new information is gained from customer
and dealer experience, the dealer DTAC solution database will be updated. If searching for new
solutions (authored during the last 60 days), add the keyword "newsolution" to your search.

SERVICE/TECHNICAL TRAINING INFORMATION
Training is not required due to few changes in the vehicle systems. Engine training is available
through the Deere Training Center.

HYDRAULIC HOSE FABRICATION GUIDE
The 608 and 753G Series Feller Bunchers utilize as many standard hydraulic hose assemblies as
possible so hoses can be fabricated to provide superior product support. All hose fabrication
information is available on the JDCEC Dealer Net.
VI.
SUGGESTED REPAIR TOOLS
No new service tools are required.
