Humanities-Humanitas-Humane- is associated with kindness, consideration,

courtesy, charity.
Humanities is closely linked to human feelings. It aimed to develop for refinement of
human mind through the study of the ancient classics that represent the noblest
and the highest ideas of human aspiration.
The study encompasses a number of branches dealing with all aspects of all human
life and knowledge. The scope of humanities include: archeology, classical
languages, linguistics, literature, music, philosophy and dramatic arts.
The main objective of the study of humanities focuses on the life and achievements
of man.

Humanities is synonymous to art


Art is a representation of the artists experiences communicated by visual symbols.
Its meaning lies on its artistic imitation of objects of reality but in the whole itself
that is the work of art as it arouses the viewers physical pleasure, an emotional
reaction to contemplate on it.

HORIZONTAL LINE runs parallel to the horizon

PERPENDICULAR LINE crosses/ intersects 90 degrees to a given line


INCLINED/ OBLIQUE/SLANTING LINE a line that is more or less than 90
