Complete an SSPT Request via MISIS.

Step 1: Referral SSPT Designee will schedule a consultation to fill out the elementary Referral Form.

Step 2: SSPT
Meeting

Review referral data and documentation.


Develop targeted strategies.
Complete Student Intervention Plan.
Interventionist/teacher will follow up with the implementation of interventions.

Step 3:
Interventions

Student should receive a minimum of three (6-8 weeks) intervention intervals with ongoing progress monitoring.
The number and length of intervals should be based on students response to intervention and rate of
improvement.
Intervention should be evidence-based and implemented with fidelity.

Step 4: PM

Students should have at least 10 data points for trend analysis interpretation.
Students at the Tier II level of support (Strategic in dibels Yellow), PM should occur biweekly.
Students at the Tier III level of support (Intensive in dibels Red), Pm should occur weekly.

It should be scheduled 6-8 weeks after the intervention has been provided.
Based on the student outcome data: 1)modify intervention, 2)continue intervention, 3)adjust the level of tier
Step 5: Followsupport, 4)review and consider a Section 504, 5)Exit the SSPT process.
