Differentiation

The teacher and students will work together to display a word wall with key words that
are important to persuasive texts, they will continue adding to these words throughout
the unit
The teacher will have students work in pairs while they explore persuasive techniques,
ensuring ELL students have a supportive student
The teacher will have students discuss their understandings of the Olympics, engage
FNMI students and all students by exploring their experiences with Olympics
