Math Expressions
Keep working on Math Fact Fluency with your
student at home. It is expected that students know
math facts to 20 within 3 seconds by the end of the
school year. When students have a strong
foundation with their facts, the rest of the math we
work on is much easier.
We are going to continue to work on double digit
addition, as well as start to move into math using
money (both bills and coins). At home, the
grocery store, at a restaurant, let your student help
you count out money to pay for your purchases. In
the world of debit/credit cards, this skill can be
sometimes tricky!

Parents and families are welcome to join us for our
school parade, as well as our classroom party from
11-11:48am. We hope to see you all there!

engaged in reading with books that are at the
reading level of your child! Check out our class
website (crullcomets.weebly.com) to learn how to
download this amazing library for use at home! If
you have any technology questions, please do not
hesitate to send them our way.

Looking Ahead
Social Studies
Next week in the afternoon I am going to be
quizzing each student on their home/personal
information for their Social Studies grade in
their report card. I plan on asking four to five
students a day, and take the whole week to
complete. Please continue to work with your child
to help them memorize their address (zip code is
difficult!), whole birthday (including year!),
phone number, and the names of the important
people that your child lives with.
