COURSE DESCRIPTION
The pace of modern life and its challenges are increasing day by day. While you learn

lead a healthy, harmonies and happy life. This interactive and experiential (nonreligious) workshop is a primer to explore wellness in 360 degrees.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
To introduce the theory, tools and techniques for a healthy, stress-free and happier life.
Design your individual plan to lead life that you love.
Provide a tracking system along with support structure will be set up to help you to
implement your plan.
PEDAGOGY/TEACHING METHOD
The workshop has 10 contact sessions of 75 minutes each and you would additionally
require about 10-15 hours to do the work needed to qualify for the award of credits.
The workshop is designed to be experiential and interactive. The pedagogy adapts a
laboratory like approach with a combination of brief talks, video clips, guided
meditation/ visualization exercises. This is a powerful experiment to shift the usual
knowledge perspective to experiential insights. Sharing and discussions for mutual
learning and inspiration are an important aspect of this workshop.

insights are valuable, they dont produce specific results by themselves. To produce
results, you will prepare your personal plan for wellth management and actually
implement it in a two week period with the support of your buddy. You capture your
day-to-day progress in a tracker and would summarize your experience in a reflection
essay.
Templates will be provided for the assignment and tracker. Hand-outs will be given with
the essential points to serve as an aide-memoir. You would be encouraged to inculcate
the habit of self-learning in the area of personal growth. A number of pointers and
suggestions will be provided during the course of the workshop for slef-learning.

Sessions 5, 6 and 7:
Objective: Modern life style has led to unprecedented levels of stress, anxiety and
worry, disturbing the inner harmony. The common approach of taking a break appears
to be working till you get back from the break; when you confront the same or even
bigger pile of things to do. The disturbances to inner harmony undermine your
productivity and creativity and rob you of the joy of being alive. You will have an
opportunity to try out easy-to use tools and techniques to manage your stress as it arises
(on-line) in your daily life.
Happier people are more successful and more effective. Happiness levels in
modern life have stagnated or even declined, despite economic growth and
improved life style. This may be attributed to the common misconception that
happiness depends mainly on the external factors - such as money, fame,
favourable events etc. We focus on "How to Be Happier" with a unique fusion of
ancient wisdom and recent scientific results.
