1. Tell Me about Yourself.

I am Rajkumar Maurya, an Electrical and Electronics Engineer and pursuing my MBA in


International Business from Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University.
Since from the school I was selected for the positions that had some responsibilities, I my school
I was the Vice President of the house then in college I was selected for Hostel Senior Prefect
which holds the responsibility of all the issues related to hostel of a particular year and I was the
Prefect of First Year students.
I was the organizer of the first college fest i.e. PRODAYA-2014 in my college and since fest was
organized first time in the college so we face the lot of problems in organizing the fest.
After passing out from the college I was selected for the post of President of Alumni Association
of NIT UTTARAKHAND which holds the responsibility for connecting all the passed out
students and helping the juniors for getting the placements.
In my present college i.e. FMS BHU I was the core committee member of RanSangram which is
the management fest of the college and it was organized first time for the other college students.
I was also selected as the core committee member of Kalpavriksha which is the student club of
FMS BHU.
2. Why should I hire you?
I can handle problems based on situations, I can motivate myself in odd conditions, while I am
working any obstacle comes I don't prefer to leave that work instead of that I think continuously
about how to complete that work, Moreover I am a good team leader. I believe patience and time
management are my biggest strengths which are utmost essential at an internship like this.
I assure you that I will deliver the best to achieve the organization's goal with full of
commitment, passion and hard work.
3. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
My strengths are patience, time management and helping nature and also able to work under any
environment. I will put forward for the ability to delegate, coordinate and supervise work.
My weakness is that I don't give up easily, no matter how hard the situation that I am
encountering.
4. Why do you want to work at our company?
I have skills sir so to improve my skills I need a place. So I think it is the place where I can prove
my skills and the knowledge whatever necessary for the development of company I will gain.

5. What is the difference between confidence and over confidence?


There is a very thin line between confidence and over confidence.
Confidence is when your feelings and beliefs in your competence also match your actual ability.
Confidence means I can do that.
Overconfidence is when your feelings/beliefs exceed your competence. Overconfidence means
only I can do that.
6. What is the difference between hard work and smart work?
A smarter worker is the one who does thing smartly. That means he knows people from whom he
can get work done and will delegate to them. He believes in delegation of work while keeping
minimal amount of work with him. He believes in coordination and managing things.
A harder worker on the other hand puts long hours every day, probably doing the same thing
again and again. A hard worker is like an artist who meticulously works on creating and fine
tuning his art. He does not delegate and would like to do the work for himself.

7. How do you feel about working nights and weekends?


Depends upon the requirement of the company if there will be an urgent work then I will be
available for working in nights and also on the weekends.

8. Can you work under pressure?


I can work under pressure. During the college when we are going to organize the fest for the first
time then our faculty didnt support for this and hence our director Sir pressurize us to drop this
idea but I didnt lose the hope and kept on working on this and at last we were able to organize
the fest.

9. Are you willing to relocate or travel?


Yes I dont have any problem to relocate and I love to travel and explore the places.

10. What are your goals?


To develop my career where I will be a valuable team member,
contributing quality ideas and work for an organization where there is an
ample scope for individual as well as organization growth

11. What motivates you to do good job?


I have always been motivated by the desire to meet a deadline. Setting and reaching deadlines
gives me such a sense of accomplishment. I love creating an organized schedule for completing a
task, and achieving my deadlines. For example, when I ran a fundraising event last year, I set
multiple deadlines for a variety of tasks leading up to the event. Achieving each deadline
motivated me to keep working, and made the event run smoothly.

12. What makes you angry?


When people lie to you for something to forcibly do bad things and people who didn't understand
to other or me makes me angry

13. Give me an example of your creativity.


Creativity is something thinking out of the box, extraordinary solution of the problems.
I with my team members organized a quiz DECIPHER which is totally different from the normal
quiz questions it contains the question based on the graphs i.e. for example we collect the data
for the number of Test Centuries of Sachin Tendulkar and make a graph of this and give them a
hint to decipher it the hint is TE RA SACH i.e. (Tendulkar Ramesh Sachin) based on this clue
the participants have to answer this question if again they are not able to answer it then we again
give the clue i.e. Indias GEM(Bharat Ratna Awardee).
Because of this creativity we got the chance to organize our quiz at the BHU level in SPANDAN
i.e. the annual fest of BHU.

14. How long would you expect to work for us if hired?


It all depends upon the work if the work is done within an hour then I will work for an hour and
take time to think about next work and if it is not done then I will not take rest until it will be
done.

15. Are not you overqualified for this position?


It depends on you that what you are thinking that I am overqualified or not but according to me I
am not overqualified.
