1.0 Introduction
Entrepreneur is a person who organizes and operates a business or businesses taking on
greater than normal financial risks in order to do so. This proposal was made to propose our
company which is Coffee & Tea Corporation in order to improve their services and business
within Malaysian customers.
1.1 Goals

Our Business goal is to cultivate a tea and coffee drinking culture

among Malaysian customers


Expanding our outlets worldwide
To ensure our customers is satisfied with our ingredients of making a
coffee and tea

1.2 Aims

Increase our market share in a disciplined manner


To ensure our outlets is very close to their home and workplace
Increasing our brand/product margins against several competitors

1.3 Objectives

Evaluate all our existing outlets in terms of operational performance

and compliance with standard operation procedures


Ensure that our outlets and employee possess an entrepreneurial spirit

and willing to commit towards building a successful business


Providing supports including administrative management, franchise
guidelines, research and development, training programs, business

policy, marketing initiatives, and information logistics


Planning to create a unique interior design and an enhanced dining

atmosphere in all our outlets


Making promotions every month to our customers, for instance: free

coffee or mixture, etc.


Ensuring our brew is fresh and well kept

2.0 Organizational Background


Our Coffee and Tea Corporation started within two years ago. Chairman of this
company is Sir Alex Thompson who lived in Malaysia for 30 years. He is a restaurant
entrepreneur as well an expert in brewing coffee. Moreover, his passion in coffee that drive
him to start a business. Even there are a lot of coffee shops in Malaysia, that doesnt stop his
idea of opening one.
Few years ago, before he began to stand on his two feet in business world, he worked as an
employee in one of the famous coffee shop in Malaysia, Acme Bar & Coffee Kuala Lumpur.
It was an award-winning eatery thats well-loved for its extensive menu and chic yet casual
setting. Resembling a New York City Loft, this coffee shop provides more than just a cup of
coffee. It provides a jazz music playing softly in the background to ensure that you yourself
enjoying a nice cup of coffee no matter what day it is.
Sir Alex Thompson believes, a good coffee came from a well fresh brew. This is his aim to
achieve as the top Malaysian coffee brewer. To do so, he started this business until as today,
where he stands with 69 outlets in Malaysia.
