News
Thank you to those who have donated
items for Operation Christmas Child.
Operation Christmas Child is such a fun
and special way for the students to share
God's love with children less fortunate
than themselves. All donations need to
be in by Wednesday and we will be
packing boxes on Thursday. If you are
able to help with packing on Thursday,
be sure to let the office know.
Next week we will be having our annual
Thanksgiving celebration, and everyone
is invited. We will begin at 10:30 in the
church with each class performing
something to celebrate Thanksgiving,
and then everyone is invited into the
gym for a Friendship soup lunch. There
is a sign-up posted outside the
classroom to bring items for Friendship
soup. We ask each student to bring one
can of chicken broth as well as one
other item on the list. After lunch,
students will be dismissed for
Thanksgiving break!
Next week there will be a science
chapter 5 test on Tuesday and a religion
unit 3 test on Thursday. Due to our
Thanksgiving celebration on Friday, we
will be having our spelling test on
Thursday. It is also a review week.
Students will take a pretest on Monday.
If they get 100% on the pretest, they
will only take the challenge words
portion of the test on Friday.
