What is migration? How does it help some animals in dealing
with extremely cold weather?
The movement of animals from one place to another for feeding,
breeding or to escape from harsh weather conditions is called
migration.
Animals living in very cold weather find it difficult to survive in
winter. So they move and travel to warmer places for food.
Eg: Siberian cranes travel from Siberia to India during winter

Animals that are in the danger of becoming extinct are called
endangered animals
Eg: Tiger, Polar bear, Giant Panda

The tigers are hunted and killed for their skin.
