Eng 3 Reflection

The lesson summary is as follows: 1. The teacher taught a lesson on the letter "n" to a kindergarten English class using fun activities like an egg activity and song to engage the students. 2. The teacher felt the use of fun activities and songs was very successful in encouraging the children to learn. 3. After the circle time, some children moved from their tables without permission, going to get water or pencils, which required more attention to behavior management and time management for future lessons.

Firstly, discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze why
you think it worked well and what hints you would share with other teachers
about the successful strategy/ resource/activity/management style etc.

The good aspect in this lesson is that I explained the lesson in an appropriately
way for KG students. I used a kind friendly language, did a fun activity with
them (egg activity) and played a song. All these things were successful to
engage students to the lesson and let them have fun.
I advise other teachers to include fun activities and play songs in teaching their
lessons because it is a useful way to encourage children learn better.
Secondly, elaborate on the aspect identified by YOU that requires attention.
Discuss what the problem was, why it occurred and what action you intend to take
to be more successful in the next lesson.

Everything was good except one thing. After we finished the circle time, children
moved to the tables to do a worksheet. The worst thing happened is that some
children moved from the tables without asking me. Some of them went to drink
water and others went to take pencils although I gave each one of them a pencil.

Personal focus for next lesson:

- Behavior management
- Time management.
