Microsoft Visio 2010 provides advanced diagramming tools to simplify complex information through dynamic, data-driven visuals and real-time web sharing. It can be used to create 10 categories of drawings including business, engineering, flowcharts, general diagrams, maps, floor plans, networks, schedules, software diagrams, and databases. The Visio interface contains toolbars along the top like other Microsoft programs. The left side displays shape menus for the selected diagram type, while the center is the workspace. The right side offers help functions that some users close to increase the workspace area. Completing this task helped the user learn how to use Visio and understand its functions.

3. Get familiar with the visio interface.describe A,B,C and D

A : the toolbars across the top of the screen are similar to other Microsoft programs such as Word
and PowerPoint.
B : the left side of the screen shows the menus specific to the type of diagram you are creating. In
this case we see:
Arrow Shapes
Backgrounds
Basic Flowchart Shapes
Borders and Titles
C : the center of the screen shows the diagram workspace, which includes the actual diagram page
as well as some blank space adjacent to the page.
D : the right side of the screen shows some help functions. Some people may choose to close this
window to increase the area for diagram workspace, and re-open the help functions when
necessary.

CONCLUSION
By doing this task I have learn and know how to use and what is the function of Microsoft Office
Visio.I hope this would very useful knowledge for me.
