The graph gives the information about 4 types of student

accommodation from 1960s2000s

At the beginning of 40 years period, students chose the room in a
shared house or flat with other students was at the same level with
those chose to be paying guest with a host family shared 70% of
the students surveyed Meanwhile the figures of students hall of
residence and at home with own family is the same as well,
accounted for 30% of the students surveyed By the end of the 40
years however, the figures of choosing shared house or flat with
other students and choosing staying in a host family had seen a
significant change. The former had been 2 times more than it in
1960s and is also more than the sum of the other 3 types. The latter
saw a continuous and steady decrease in 40 years, eventually it had
fallen less than half of it in 1960s,.
A more detailed look at the graph reveals that the number of
students choose students hall of residence and the number of
students at home with own family fluctuated. Between 1960s1980s,the former increased then fell to the same level as 1960s
while the latter fallen by 10% every decade. Then in1980s2000s,the number of those choosing students hall of residence
fluctuated while those choosing at home rises.
Overall, the most noticeable changes involved the number of
students choosing shared house with students and those with a host
family. This shows that students want to share things with the same
age person, they dont want to stay in others family.
