Dear Parent/Carer,

School Production of Macbeth Thursday 1 and Friday 2 December


We are writing to you to encourage you to come with your son/ward and see the school production
of Macbeth which is taking place on Thursday 1 and Friday 2 December.
All students in Year 9 will study Macbeth in the Spring Term as part of the English curriculum.
This will be the first time that students will study an entire Shakespeare play; seeing it in
performance will not only be an engaging experience, but moreover will support your son/ward
in his understanding of plot, character and themes.
The show begins at 7.00pm and runs until approximately 8.30pm.
If you would like to come to one of the evening performances, you can purchase tickets at a
reduced price via the schools website: www.isleworthsyon.org/macbeth. There will be a limited
number of full price tickets available on the door.
