The group of children have between 5 and 6 years old The students were in a
Family Welfare nursery, it is a public entity, and there they did not have an English
teacher. Students have been learning English this year with me, I teach them all
subjects including English. The preschool group is a group show great interest in
learning, they love the activities performed through games but also manual work.
How this lesson will meet their needs? What do the students know in order to cope
with your lesson? How is this lesson connected to the previous one and to the

It is important for children to learn colors, because life is full of colors, this helps

them to recognize their preferences, the color of their dress or favorite objects.
This lesson is related to the previous one because our bodies, eyes and hair make
us different people by their shape and color. It is also related to the following
because in our family the colors make us different, all the members of the family
have a favorite color.

Warm-Up:
Game contest: 7 glasses will be placed with the primary colors, secondary and coffee, in
turn the children will pass and deposit in the glass of the color indicated by the teacher a
chip, earns points the row that does it well. For example: Put the triangle in the blue
glass, this way I reinforce the primary colors and I can inquire what the children know of
the secondary colors.

Presentation:
Let's experiment with the colors: the children had to mix in water glasses with yellow,
blue and red vinyl, each color in a different glass, and then they were mixing two
different colors in another glass to discover the color that was formed, and I was
teaching the name of the color.

I consider that all the stages of the lesson had an excellent development by the variety
of strategies. This lesson was very playful for children.

I would like to read stories with children in English or teach them simple tongue twisters.
6. How can I learn about the areas which I want to improve?
I must continue practicing the pronunciation, so I attend English classes on Saturdays in
Cambridge.
