Activity:
In this activity students will create
their own short story using
Toontastic. In their groups they must
make their own version of their story
on the app. Each student must take
turns voicing over the story and
customizing a scene to ensure that
everyone participates.
As the teacher, I will eventually be
playing each of them through the
Smartboard in class. First, I will begin
by opening a discussion with the
whole class about each story. We will
discuss the parts of a story (conflict,
challenge, climax, and resolution )
After each video, we will discuss
which parts of the stories were
considered to be the conflict,
challenge, climax, and resolution.
Instructions:
Enter the Toontastic App
Click Startup on the home screen
and have the students pick their
setting, choose their characters, and
record the first scene of their story.
There is also adoption for them to
add background music if they would
like.
They will repeat these steps
throughout the Conflict, Challenge,
Climax, and Resolution of their
story.

Activity:
The students will use TinyTap to
create a game or quiz based on the
material were learning in class. Then,
they will partner up to play each
others game or take their quiz. On a
separate sheet of paper they should
write out the correct answers so the
person taking their quiz will have an
answer key to refer to after they have
finished taking the quiz.
As the teacher, I will take bits and
pieces from each quiz made and form
a unit test. The students will be able
to access everyones quizzes on
TinyTap, so it is their responsibility to
play around with the app and partner
up with different people in order to
get the answers to their classmates
quizzes. The games that are created
will be used for review on the Smart
board.
Instructions:
Open TinyTap
Click Profile at the bottom of the
screen and make an account
Click on Create at the bottom
Make your game or quiz!
Find a partner and switch devices to
take each others quizzes!!
