Sample Ladder Tournament

Sebastian beat Andy so they swapped places in the rankings table, with Sebastian moving up and Andy moving down. Marat also beat Tim so they swapped places. If Sebastian had lost to Andy instead, they would have stayed in the same ranking positions. A player can only challenge others who are within a certain number of places above them in the rankings, determined by the challenger's position - in this example, the 10th ranked player could challenge up to 3 places above them.

Sample Ladder
In the BEFORE table, Sebastian beats Andy and Marat beats Tim, so they swap placessee AFTER table. If
Sebastian has lost to Andy, they would both have stayed in the same place.
Another rule is that you can only challenge players who are within a certain amount of places of a player. The
players position determines how many places a player can challenge above). In the BEFORE table, 10 th
placed Robby could challenge 3 places above, meaning he could challenge Lleyton but not Guillermo.
