German 2016-2017
1. Your goal is to accumulate 50 points per progress quarter by completing
various assignments that you select from the list below. The work is due on
the following dates: Oct 21st, Nov. 30th and Jan 13th.
2. Select the assignments that interest you the most.
3. The points for each assignment are listed with the description. Read the
descriptions carefully.
4. Staple the Homework Assignments Cover Sheet to your assignments
when you turn them in.
6. Please keep all work school appropriate (G-rated). If you are unsure
whether your work fulfills this requirement, ask me before the due date and I
will tell you. Inappropriate or incomplete work receives no credit.
7. Please take pride in doing your own work and have the integrity to work
independently on your assignments unless it is an approved group project.
Plagiarized work or work done by others gets no credit.
8. SPECIAL NOTE FOR FIRST YEAR STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS:
As you look through these activities you will notice that many require the use of
a level of German which may be difficult for you during the first quarter. Do
not despair, there are plenty of activities that require little or no German and
those activities requiring German are geared to your level of knowledge. You
will find that there are plenty of opportunities for meeting this requirement.
9. Some assignments require pictures as proof of completion. All pictures
should be e-mailed to [email protected]
** Unless the activities are tied to specific dates, you are in control of when you
complete them.
**You may hand in the packet anytime during the term, but do not turn in work for future
terms and do not turn in partially completed work expecting it to be held for future use.
You may, however, do activities in advance and hold them yourself for future grading
periods.
**When writing stories, sequels, new endings, etc. stay within the vocabulary you have
already learned.
