Distance education has seen a considerable evolution over years (Larreamendy-Joerns &
Leinhardt, 2006). the first and foremost trait is to motivate myself which is a process
whereby goal-directed activity is instigated and sustained(Schunk et al; 2008) and it is
linked to cognitive and affective processes (Brophy, 2010). Research ahs identified two
approaches to keep my self-motivated in this multifaceted and transboundary online
global learning environment, to encourage optimal learner motivation and personal
motivation (Hartnett et al; 2011), and I will make use of them.
